1. Agreement
By using the services or completing a purchase, you agree to these terms, the Privacy Policy, the Refund Policy, and, for the desktop app, the Desktop License Agreement.
2. Accounts, purchases, and billing
You must provide accurate purchase and contact information. Stripe processes payments. Prices are shown before checkout; taxes may be added where required. Subscription plans renew automatically at the stated interval until canceled. You authorize recurring charges and may cancel through the Stripe customer portal or by contacting support. Cancellation stops future renewals and does not retroactively refund prior service periods except as stated in the Refund Policy or required by law.
3. License delivery
After successful payment, we issue a high-entropy license key through the checkout completion page. You are responsible for saving it securely. Do not publish or share the key beyond authorized users and devices.
4. Signature services
If enabled for your plan, you may submit eligible documents and recipient information for electronic signature. You represent that you are authorized to send each document, have a lawful basis to process recipient data, and will provide all required notices and consent choices. You must not use the service for excluded documents, unlawful activity, deception, harassment, or transactions requiring controls the service does not provide.
5. Electronic records
No person is required to accept electronic records. Consumer transactions may require affirmative consent, hardware/software disclosures, a withdrawal method, paper-copy information, and a way to demonstrate access. You are responsible for determining and implementing requirements that apply to your transaction. Users must be able to download or retain completed records and evidence where required.
6. Acceptable use
You may not probe or disrupt the service; upload malware; attempt unauthorized access; evade quotas or activation controls; infringe rights; process prohibited or unlawfully obtained data; impersonate another person; or use the service in violation of export, sanctions, privacy, consumer-protection, or electronic-transaction law.
7. Availability and changes
We may improve, secure, limit, or discontinue features. We may suspend services to address security, fraud, legal requirements, or material breach. We do not promise uninterrupted availability. Paid desktop rights are governed separately by the EULA.
8. Your content
You retain ownership of your documents and templates. You grant Vcare2 only the limited rights needed to process content for an online feature you deliberately request. Local desktop documents and templates are not uploaded by default.
9. Intellectual property
KarmaPDF, KarmaSign, branding, software, and service design are owned by Vcare2 or its licensors. These terms do not transfer ownership. Feedback may be used without restriction or compensation.
10. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided “as is” to the maximum extent permitted by law. It does not provide legal advice and does not guarantee that a signature or document will be enforceable. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vcare2 excludes indirect and consequential damages, and total liability will not exceed the greater of US$100 or the amount you paid to Vcare2 during the 12 months before the claim. Non-waivable rights remain unaffected.
11. Indemnity
If you use the services for a business, you will defend and indemnify Vcare2 from third-party claims arising from your content, unlawful instructions, violation of these terms, or failure to obtain required authority or consent, except to the extent caused by Vcare2’s own breach or unlawful conduct.
12. Disputes and applicable law
Before filing a claim, contact legal@karmapdf.com and allow 30 days for informal resolution. Applicable law and forum will be determined by mandatory law and the jurisdiction of Vcare2 LLC’s principal place of business, without overriding non-waivable consumer protections. This draft does not impose mandatory arbitration or waive class-action rights.
